Hi there! I’ve been teaching Arabic to non-native speakers for 20+ years. I hold a BA in Pedagogy (German Studies) and I’m a certified teacher of Arabic as a foreign language. Regardless of your level, I can tailor-make a course to suit your needs!

"German is the hardest language to learn!" "This makes now sense!" You know ... those thoughts we are having when learning German. They are NOT true! I believe that German can be explained and actually be fun as well. I have been told that I explain Grammar and Vocabluary in good ways and animate people to stay motivated. ;) Find out if our chemistry matches in a trail lesson. Please understand that I can't accept more then 4 hours of lessons per day to keep the quality up. Of course I will try to find an other time slot for you, in case you book a day that already reached capacity.

My native language is German, I am also fluent in English. At the moment I´m learning Sinhala and I know what it means to learn a new language and how hard it can be sometimes - additional to your lesson. So don't be afraid, I am a very fun, friendly and patient community tutor :)!

I have been teaching German since 2014. I will design the lessons according to your needs. If you would like to improve speaking, we can do conversation classes on topics such as travel, culture, music, art, sports, your job and much more. If you would like to improve your pronunciation and vocabulary, we can read short texts together and discuss them. Maybe you intend to work or study in Germany in the near future, then I can prepare you for your new job or university.

As I've been interested in languages for quite some time, I learned Latin, English and French at school and proceeded with a BA in French linguistics and literature. While completing my undergraduate, I started giving private tutoring lessons in English, French and German and noticed how much I enjoy teaching languages. After graduating I lived in the French speaking part of Switzerland where I also worked as a language assistant for German.

I recommend booking your lessons at least two weeks in advance to ensure you find an available slot for regular classes.

Ich habe bereits knapp vier Jahre lang bei Summercamps Kindern Deutsch gelehrt, selbst privat Nachhilfe gegeben und außerdem auch Austauschschülern aus Asien Deutsch beigebracht. Daher bin ich damit vertraut, mich meinen Gegenüber individuell einzustellen, insbesondere wenn es um Sprachen geht. I worked as a freelance tutor for more than two decades and helped many students to achieve their goals. Everyone is different and while I have a nice toolbox of proven methods to help a student I will always adjust to my students and their needs. Language acquisition has many steps. We will need a good solid foundation before we can really build out our new language core.

I want you to improve your german! From my experience the best way to learn a language is to speak regularly! I want to help you to stop your anxiety and building up a confidence level to finally have fun while you are learning a new language and not to be afraid to try! Since I'm a native speaker and I like it to explain things to others, I thought it would be a great opportunity to help you with your knowledge.

My experience as a language teacher started in 2020 on italki. I have fun explaining the German language to others and I am really patient with students takeing their time to learn. I just started learning Indonesian so I experience for myself again how difficult it can be and that being harsh on a student is the least effective way to learn easy and fast.
