I like sharing my knowledge and my experience as much as possible with people from all around the world. I am a patient and thorough teacher, I like to get to the bottom of the things.

I want students to enjoy learning. It has to be something in which they are willing to participate. I try to make most of my classes as entertaining as I can by finding topics in which the students will find an interest. Once the content is interesting, then the form (the structure, the vocabulary, the idioms etc.) will come more and more naturally and intuitively. I am very open minded and try to put myself in the students' shoes as much as possible and, as a learner myself, I can relate to the needs and obstacles someone might face in the process of learning.

I started doing home lessons over 10 years ago, and at the same time I started to work in schools. In the recent years I have been a French language assistant in several schools here in Italy, and I really enjoy it. I am really focused on the communication and oral aspects, and I want to adapt my teaching to every student.

Je sais faire preuve de patience et je m'adapte toujours aux besoin de mes apprenant/es. Ayant enseigné le FLE (Français Langue Etrangère) dans de nombreux contextes, je peux aujourd'hui travailler avec des enfants, ados ou adultes à tous niveaux d'apprentissage. Je réalise également du coaching en recherche d'emploi, je suis donc optimiste et encourageante, peu importe le projet de la personne que j’accompagne !

I have been a dance teacher for 40 years, so that I am sure I love teaching! At some times in the past, I have also given private language lessons at home, but it was hard to fit them into my family life. Now with italki offering online teaching, I am pleased to come back to it. I see teaching fundamentally as a way of communicating. Before starting to instil any skill in my dance students, I try to reach out to each of them and establish the open channel that is key to learning. This is how I am able to teach the difficult technique of classical ballet to complete adult beginners, women and men. J'ai une licence de Lettres Modernes avec une spécialisation dans l'enseignement du F.L.E. Cela m'a permis d'avoir non seulement une connaissance théorique sur la langue française mais aussi didactique. J'ai également un diplôme AMI Montessori qui influence énormément ma manière d'enseigner. J'ai d'abord enseigné à la Croix Rouge à des adultes migrants pendant un an. Cette expérience m'a vraiment confortée dans l'idée que ce métier était fait pour moi. J'ai ensuite travaillé dans différentes écoles maternelles. Depuis deux ans, j'enseigne le français dans une école à temps partiel à des enfants de 3 et 8 ans. Le reste du temps, j'enseigne le français en ligne à des adultes de tout niveaux.

I don't like to be called a teacher. I prefer to converse with you informally rather than having a structured, 'first this than that lesson'. I throw in slangs and idioms from time to time to enrich your vocabulary (and make you sound cooler).
