I focus on everyday English, culture of the English speaking world, English for specific purposes and have taught international university students in the US, with a focus on essay writing. I taught in France at university level (literature, creative writing, Anglophone media). Most recently, I have taught communicative English, IELTS preparation, Business English for corporate classes, including one-to-one lessons. I came to foreign language teaching as a foreign language student (speaking Spanish as a child at home and school) and starting French as a complete beginner at 17 in Quebec. These experiences made me aware of how language could facilitate travel and cultural exchange.

My present students come from all backgrounds, countries, age ranges and levels of competency French. I have helped dozens of students make the breakthroughs they have been searching for. I have been teaching Math last year in a secondary school for several levels, it was a good experience for me, also during my student years, I been giving particular courses, so that makes me understand more about teaching and what student wait from a teacher. For the last five years after been graduated in IT, I start studying and learning languages, I learn English and Spanish from the beginning, without being in a physical course, so I collect a lot of skills on how to learn a language that I can share with you.

I started teaching music at the age of 13 in a marching band, and I haven't stopped teaching since. Throughout my career, I have taught colleagues and customers in various settings and in multiple languages and I just really enjoy the process of helping people explore new things and gaining confidence in using them.

I don't like to be called a teacher. I prefer to converse with you informally rather than having a structured, 'first this than that lesson'. I throw in slangs and idioms from time to time to enrich your vocabulary (and make you sound cooler).

I have been travelling for many years and have visited over 30 countries. This has been an excellent way for me to help people learn new languages or develop their grasp of English. My experience ranges from teaching farmers in South America to assisting in small group settings studying for exams. I studied English language, French and Spanish, hopefully I can help you see how easy it can be to pick up a new language too. Please, no students under 17yrs (I may accept a trial or 30 minute lesson to see if we are compatible however, it is unlikely).

I am calm, patient and I can adjust to your level. I give sessions in French and Arabic at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. I am flexible and can adapt our sessions to what you want to do. I am open-minded to talk about any subject. What I like the most is exchanging with people from different culture, different languages and different origins. I have already given some face-to-face lessons of English, French and Dutch to some students of my country and helped them pass their exams.

I have taught English and French as second languages in various capacities, as well as Francophone and American literature. My goal is to build a comfortable, warm environment for my students, where they feel able to speak freely and use the language as much as possible. I rely heavily on authentic language source material to help the student build a personal connection with the language, and those who speak it. NB: I am only available to teach adults, and not well-suited for absolute beginners.
