I hold a Bachelor's degree in Applied Communication from the University of Fort Hare South Africa and a 120 hour TESOL certificate. I have taught English for many years to both kids and grown adults on one-on-one tutorial sessions and on online platforms. I love teaching and helping people improve and feel confident about speaking a new language, focusing on the strengths and weaknesses of every individual student. My classes are very dynamic, I do not like to focus on grammar but rather on fluency and improving conversational skills. I believe having conversations on various different subjects is the best way to learn and practice a new language. I have over one year experience working as an English Foreign Teacher in China and i also have over three years experience working as a tutor in University.

I have taught students for Cambridge exams for over 30 years with a high degree of success. Working in S E Asia I wrote two textbooks for Brunei and Singapore exams.

Everyone has his own favorite art and teaching Arabic is my favorite art. I have been working as a teacher of Arabic and for almost 4 years and I have always tried to use all the methods and techniques that might help my students learn the Arabic Language in a good and interactive way and in the best teaching environment available.

I´m a professional online ESL and Spanish teacher. I´ve taught children, teenagers and adults for five years achieving very good results. I am also currently working for a Mexican University and have an Associates degree from a University in the U.S.

As a teacher, I try my best to create a friendly, welcoming space for you to learn English. I know how nerve-wracking it can be as a language learner, no matter what level you are, and so I want you to feel happy and comfortable during our lessons to make mistakes and not feel embarrassed. Making mistakes with me is the best thing you can do as I'll correct you (nicely, of course!) and help you stop making that mistake again. All of this will be done naturally as I don't want anyone to feel overwhelmed by English, particularly when speaking with me. Due to my style of teaching and personal preference, I do not teach children.

Since 2015 I have taught full time to students from 13 to 65 years of age, from basic academic skills to advanced business levels (for companies like Amazon, LinkedIn, Burger King and Walmart), and to people from all continents; always adapting to their needs. I got my certification as a foreign language teacher from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2019. I can switch from English to Spanish or vice versa if needed (but I generally prefer only to speak in the language I teach), and I can also support with different accents, formal expressions or slang. I have helped others presenting international certifications such as the IELTS, TOEFL and USA and Mexico citizenship.

I have taught French, English and Arabic to students from all over the world, mainly adults, at all levels, in groups as well as in private lessons. Those classes included the preparation to exams such as DELF & DALF & TEF & TCF. I draw on my experience both as a language teacher and as a language student to deliver the best quality teaching I can, using resources such as PDF files, articles, homework assignments etc. for me teaching means being there to give content and structure but also a supportive presence.

I've been teaching for more than 3 years now and believe that making my students feel comfortable, is one of my strengths. I like to make some random jokes in my classes to keep the topic interesting and really analyze how you, the student, can improve. I write down notes and am always well prepared so we can be as effective as possible. I see myself as an all-round teacher, but my focus is usually on fluency, accuracy and speaking techniques (making you sound more natural). Of course I also try to help you to learn new vocabulary (words) and idioms and can help you with any other skill or topic. Just tell me what you want to improve and I'll help you!

On italki I have had the pleasure of working with many students to practise and improve their English. Some of these have just been relaxed chats and some have been a little more structured preparation for English exams. From time to time I have helped students to review and edit written work for university assignments, presentations etc. I have received a great deal of training in phonics and the teaching of reading and writing, and have a lot of experience teaching grammar.

As a teacher I would say that I am social, objective and caring. I love to make the learning process fun and enjoyable Social: I try to shape it like a social meeting where the student has opportunities to speak, question, observe, discover, grow and express. As a language-learner myself, I know that it is a journey to become fluent and to attain a high level and I most certainly choose to make it a pleasant ride!
