I am a TEFL certified English teacher, and I have been teaching Business English to corporate students in Santiago. I have taught both individual and group classes at companies like Walmart, Saba, PwC and Albemarle for all levels.

I took part in the CELTA training and acquired the certificate after obtaining my degree. I will do my best to help you on your path of English learning, and I believe we can make quick progress, as my CELTA tutors assessed: I'm a patient teacher who would make my students comfortable during the lesson, I'm able to respond to the feedback and improve my lessons and teaching skills, and most importantly, I am motivated.

I consider myself a student first and a teacher second, because life is a journey of perennial learning from the moment we are born until the moment we breathe our last. To stop learning would be to "grow old" in the truest sense of the words. I believe that you are as much of a teacher as I am, because from your unique set of life-experiences & encounters, I have as much to learn from you as you do from me. That said, I am blessed to have had a wealth of experience in life and a 15 year trajectory as a career-professional in education teaching kids from secondary school to adults. I pride myself on being able to have a good conversation on any topic and also on having a really good sense of humor. That is why, our classes will always be fun and you'll be looking forward to them. I am also very open-minded and enjoy learning about other cultures and traditions from all around the globe. I'll make sure to guide and motivate you during your learning process and you can always ask me anything, even outside of class. If you want, I will also give you weekly homework so you can improve your level outside our classes as well.

I believe teaching is a vacation, since childhood i have always had that passion to teach and that is why i am currently an online English teacher. I have been travelling for many years and have visited over 30 countries. This has been an excellent way for me to help people learn new languages or develop their grasp of English. My experience ranges from teaching farmers in South America to assisting in small group settings studying for exams. I studied English language, French and Spanish, hopefully I can help you see how easy it can be to pick up a new language too. Please, no students under 17yrs (I may accept a trial or 30 minute lesson to see if we are compatible however, it is unlikely).
