I believe that when you teach a language it should not be done through a formal parrot learning fashion but a fun and interactive approach. I teach the Zulu language by involving my learners young and old of all ages through songs, poems, fun games, videos, stories, live classroom dialogues, real-life experiences (example is the Zulu culture) and PowerPoint Presentations which is all through simple Zulu communicative vocabulary. Extra learning material is provided to my learners to complete after lessons such as homework which I will also go through in the live lesson to track your progress or provide any assistance that you need. As an aspiring Foundation Phase student who has worked with young children for 3 years i have worked with children that have different learning needs which resulted in me having to adapt to the teaching method of inclusivity in my classroom which means that the teaching strategies I use cater for all my learners learning needs, I strive in creating a learning environment for my learners that allows us to both learn from each other also having a relationship with my learners and a safe space where everyone feels comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes while learning the Zulu language.Tài liệu giảng dạy của tôi

Only my third lesson and I’m noticing significant improvement in my vocabulary and understanding how to form sentence structures. Loyce’s fun interactive style of teaching is very engaging and I’m excited for more lessons to come!

Having a such fun time learning from Loyce. She’s very encouraging and easy to talk to. My zulu has improved so much since starting with her. It helps so much having a teacher you can laugh with, is patient and is able to match your pace of learning. Simply the best!
