I pride myself on being able to have a good conversation on any topic and also on having a really good sense of humor. That is why, our classes will always be fun and you'll be looking forward to them. I am also very open-minded and enjoy learning about other cultures and traditions from all around the globe. I'll make sure to guide and motivate you during your learning process and you can always ask me anything, even outside of class. I think that conversation is the best way of acquiring a new language. The process of language acquisition shouldn't imply any kind of translation from your native language or reading all sorts of grammar books, It shouldn't be logical either, because a language is never logical. What it should be then? Fun and enjoyable in the first place. For that, I'll be using different kinds of materials such as videos, articles and even introduce you the Romanian memes. It was a really nice class. Teodora is an excellent teacher, talkative and kind. She helped me with my speaking practice. I definitely recommend to take lessons with her. Tuvimos una clase muy agradable. Es una gran maestra. La recomiendo mucho si quieres aprender un nuevo idioma.

I had a very positive first and second lesson with Teodora! In the first lesson she did a good job outlining what I could to expect to learn from her teaching style in addition to some strategic insights on learning languages in general. In our second session she taught me some very useful translations of English words to Romanian, introduced me to essential Romanian vocabulary, and helped me feel more confident about the pronunciation and spelling rules. I am excited to continue my Romanian learning journey! :)
