We had a great lesson, as usual Hyuen is very patient with me, and we have a lot of laughs and a lot of fun during the lesson. But I also feel that I learn a lot, and that I am progressing with the language. I really recommend Hyuen as a teacher!

Cô Huyền assigned me articles to read beforehand and we discussed them in class. We had a super fun and interesting conversation about folk beliefs in Vietnam! I got many new words which are useful for my research and I learned a lot about Vietnamese cultures. I really like our lesson today! Thank you!

We had a wonderful conversation today. Cô Huyền shared with me her experience catching field crabs when she was young. Then we discussed Vietnamese food, especially phở and bún chả, and where to find them in Hanoi. (This made me really hungry!) In addition, I got a chance to practice my pronunciation by reading an article about bún chả. Cô Huyền carefully corrected my mistakes and I think I did it better on my second try. We also went over my written homework together. She did give me a clear explanation about my grammatical errors. Overall, I think today's lesson was well-connected and super interesting!
