I have taught English to Speakers of Other languages for 15 years, mostly in secure institutions. For the students I teach, English is essential to access education and employment within the UK.
I have taught students from complete beginners and upwards. I am used to teaching reading, writing & speaking & listening skills. I specialize in beginner A1 students through to intermediate B2 and above. My delight is in seeing a student develop from struggling to articulate themselves in English, to being able explain confidently what they want. Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
I will plan lessons according to your needs, I like to deliver structured lessons but I am also happy with a general conversational lesson. I can help you learn different grammatical structures and prepare you for tests if that is what you need. I can help you develop and expand your reading and writing skills.
I have an in-depth knowledge of the grammar, lexis and phonology of the English language. I am extremely sensitive to the factors influencing the use of English, both personal and social cultural and historical. I really enjoyed my session with Lavinia. She is very professional. During the session she balanced the need to being encouraging whilst being able to point out my mistakes very well. She could also explain to me why I made such a mistake.
