Of the dozen or so Spanish teachers I've tried on italki, Eliana is one of the best. I've had many lessons with her and they have all been interesting and fun. The material she uses is great. I've learned a lot. I'd say the thing I like best is that she speaks in an easy-to-understand neutral accent and adjusts the rhythm of her speech so I can understand. Make sure to book lessons in advance - her schedule fills up quickly!

Eliana is a superb Spanish teacher with whom I have now had over 30 beginner lessons. She is patient, engaging, motivating, and always prepared. I am also grateful that she gives me homework to do in between lessons, and I love how we review it together at the beginning of each class. I highly recommend Eliana to anyone who is seeking to learn and/or improve their Spanish. As a fellow teacher (although I’m not a language teacher!), I recognize and appreciate Eliana’s excellence and dedication to her craft.

She is flexible and kind and smart. You’d be lucky to get her as a teacher.
