My name is Jawara and I come from Gambia, West Africa but I am currently living in Italy. I have a lot of experience when it comes to languages, because since I was born I was exposed to a rich variety of languages of my region. In fact, I am Soninke, but since I was a child I started to learn other local languages, such as Fula, Wolof and Mandinka. When I move to Italy I faced the struggle of learning a language that was so far away from the ones I know. I was so fascinated that I also decided to learn Portuguese.

My trial lesson with Jawara was very motivating and encouraging. As a Senegalese-American, I lost touch with my native language of Wolof. With Jawara, he was very professional with good patience and support for a beginner learner like myself. I look forward to having more lessons with him in the future. Additionally, I would highly recommend having a lesson with him.
