I am an outgoing explorer who loves sports and the outdoors. I am from England but moved to Colombia during the pandemic to live with my girlfriend who is also a language teacher on italki. I also love relaxing with games, movies and a series. My latest hobby is home cooking, food in Colombia is a little different and so creating full meals from scratch such as an Indian curry is always worth the time. I'm a passionate, hard working and a very sociable person who loves to help others. My interest in language started more recently as I began my own journey to learn Spanish last year which I now speak at an intermediate level. I hope we can get to know each other and learn together.

I am patient, thorough and kind teacher. I believe greatly in building a relationship with my students and the importance of feedback and praise. My students quickly feel comfortable learning with me in a welcoming environment. I currently teach English in a college in Colombia however my teaching career began 10 years ago in Malaysia where I taught physical education in an international school to students aged 6 to 19 years. I then moved to London, continuing my work in international IB schools and progressing into senior management quickly. On route I was head of personal project (a thesis type assignment) and also taught science and maths.

My lessons are adhered to your needs; they are planned to meet your learning style and language goals. Using online video calls and the endless resources online, my lessons are interactive, fun and structured. Lesson content is adjusted to any requirement: If you are an adult looking for high level conversational practice, our lessons can be highly structured with difficult concepts added and previous content reviewed. If you are looking for lessons for your child, then my lesson and style would become engaging with many small tasks and games, with the language learning naturally occurring in a studious environment,.

Justin is such a friendly guy, always willing to help, interact and have a nice chat with me!!! He gives me the opportunity to speak a lot and help me improving my vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.
