I live in Melbourne Australia. I am a mother and grandmother but now live quietly in my own apartment in the city centre. My family includes three wonderful adult children, two sons and a daughter, their partners plus a granddaughter and a grandson. I enjoy travelling, reading, movies, current affairs, walking, swimming and of course spending time with family and friends. I volunteer with a charity, helping to raise funds and make blankets for children in need.

I am a registered school teacher and also have qualifications to teach English as a Foreign Language and Business English. Since I retired from classroom teaching, I have taught English to students in China, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. I would like to focus my online teaching on Conversational English.

I have an informal teaching style based on conversation and building confidence. I can be flexible and adapt to the needs and requirements of individual students. Talking with each other to improve understanding or practice discussing topics students request. I think building confidence is an essential part of learning a language. We will be able to focus on improving your English understanding and pronunciation.
