I live in Japan, Saitama prefecture, next to Tokyo. I speak standard Japanese, no dialect. I live in Kawagoe which is an old city with history. If you have a chance to come here, I can give you good information of some seeing spots. I practice shorinjikempo, the Buddhist martial arts. I have a ferret named Clutch. I have completed all the requirements of Japanese Language Teacher Training Course 420 hours above, and successfully passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test. I actually have work experience of Japanese language schools.

Mizuki Sensei is a talented teacher and I enjoy our lessons very much. He can explain complicated Japanese Grammar very easily. Learning with him is also fun and he has a good sense of humor. Most importantly, his lessons build on each other and you can tell he is passionate about teaching. I would recommend for any level of Japanese and I only wish my Japanese could be half as good as his English.

Great lesson as usual, Mizuki-sensei is great at explaining why my homework answers don't sound natural and is also great at explaining the use of particles I haven't yet encountered or just need more work on. Excited for the next lesson!

Mizuki was very thorough in correcting my mistakes which was exactly what I asked for. His explanation was from a very grammatical point of view so it was easy to understand the rules and I could clearly see why what I said was a mistake. He gave me a lot of typed out notes on Skype and I appreciate it a lot! I definitely recommend his lessons if you're looking for a better understanding of Japanese grammar.
