From Zero to N3 in 2 years! I would highly recommend Narita-san to anyone who is serious about learning Japanese. I jumped into this water without knowing how to swim. Now, I’m navigating the boundless ocean of Japanese culture with ease (rakugo, ranobe, kaidan banashi, “I am a cat” etc.). Narita-san is a type of coach who won’t obstruct you when you are pushing the limits. And yet, he will never push you to make you feel uncomfortable. He will assist you from the rear seat while you are driving. He is listening to you attentively. Then, he immediately steps forward when he feels like you need a piece of advice. Be it hinting the reading, translating an unknown word, explaining the meaning. To me, this is what a true tutor should be like. Narita-san has an amazing ability to feel his student’s needs. His ability to adapt his tutoring to the student’s current skills and abilities is indeed AAA. I’m very happy to have Narita-san as my Japanese teacher. I see my success as guaranteed.

It is fun to talk about various topics with him, and he will find ways to use many grammar points in order to organically find out what you need to practice.

Another great lesson with Narita-san! He used his whiteboard for the first time with me and it helped a lot. This time, we talked about dialects!

What a journey with Sensei. It started back in January with few Japanese language knowledge (how to read katakana, and few vocabulary words but that's about it honestly). My grammar was so poor and I could barely make a sentence. However, Sensei (and his endless patience) taught me how to fall in love with Japanese grammar and the specificities of his mother tongue language. We divided our class between casual talks, GENKI lessons, and JLPT reviews, which is pretty convenient and covers a large spectrum of the Japanese language. Over these past 6 months, my Japanese language skills significantly improved thanks to him. To my surprise, I was able to handle a full conversation in Japanese, with my Japanese co-worker all due to Sensei classes. I would definitely recommend him to any Japanese learner from beginner to advanced speakers. Special note if you love hunter x hunter, this sensei is your perfect match. Thank you for everything you thought me and more to come.

Unfortunately, Ko Narita san doesn't speak quite as quickly as he does in his video - he had to increase the speed to squeeze it into the time allowed. Ko Nirata san is very lively and energetic person. The hour flew by, the lesson was very enjoyable and I will be booking more quite quickly. ありがとございました　またね
