I have been a qualified TEFL teacher since July 2016, and I have experience teaching complete beginners through to advanced. I teach adults and have taught business English, general English, and exam preparation.
I have a lot of experience creating personalised learning plans, and have also designed syllabuses and curriculums, including for a university where I taught in Colombia.
I studied religion and diplomacy as a MA because I enjoy learning about and experiencing different cultures, which is what lead me into being an English teacher. I love teaching English as it helps us understand one another and share our own cultures and worldviews. Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
The "conversation practice" classes engage listening and speaking and also allows you to practice the new vocabulary that is in the article/video that we will talk about each session. The conversation will involve using a range of grammar structures but in a natural way, through prompts and questions, and at the end of the class there is an "error correction" exercise. to show you any issues you may have and which we will correct together so that you understand your mistakes and you remember how to correct them in the future.
I teach specific grammar through powerpoints which present the information, we then practice it, and you finish the class by producing the structure independently.Tài liệu giảng dạy của tôi

The class was absolutely fantastic. The conversation was very enjoyable, Annabel made precise and necessary corrections to what I said (at the end of the class, which is good to not discourage us as we speak) and gave me awesome tips on how to sound more natural. I will definitely book more classes with her!
