I have approximately 17 years of formal and private Spanish teaching experience. I am very sensitive to the needs of the student and I try, from the first moment, to inspire confidence in their own learning. I really like working from a lexical approach, as well as dealing with aspects of listening comprehension and prosody (cadence, intonation curve, rhythm, etc.). I think I am the perfect teacher for those who are at an intermediate or advanced level and need to communicate more complex or specific content, such as those from the business field or those from work, professional, or academic settings. As a teacher, I listen to the student without interrupting, unless it is essential. I attend to all student concerns and interests by first setting goals. I also guide their learning toward areas that in my opinion need attention. I usually do intensive work with the student's difficulties, but interspersing activities geared toward other skills than the ones being practiced. My system is eclectic. As a tutor, I love open chats where the student freely talks about experiences and ideas. Gisela é uma professora espetacular se você está procurando realmente aprender Espanhol eu recomendo fortemente, pois ela é exigente, mas ajuda com todas as dúvidas. Está a todo tempo buscando materiais de estudo que facilitam o aprendizado, tem facilidade com o ambiente virtual e o mais importante está sempre de bom humor. Conhece muito bem a Espanha e tem na maior parte das vezes uma boa história para explicar a origem e significados das palavras o que na minha opinião contribui para fixar o aprendizado.
