Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
Two years ago I started teaching on Italki and also gave extra lesson to high school students. From August 2017 until December 2018 I taught German and English in a language school in Ho Chi Minh City. The biggest city in Vietnam and gained a lot of experience in teaching in front of a class. During this time I realized one of the biggest challenges in learning a language. Self-confidence. Also the structure and way of teaching was not always efficient. In order to support the Vietnamese education system and especially the students, together with my Co-Founders we set up our own German language center in Vietnam. Currently we teach all levels and hope to inspire more young students! Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
During the lesson I mainly focus on speaking and listening. The biggest problem for students is to overcome the fear of speaking a foreign language. I will create a comfortable atmosphere by letting you chose the topic and I will encourage and motivate you in a genuine way so you feel easy to talk. Of course I am able to explain you some key grammar points in order for you to understand the language better. I also want to share culture and tradition through the lesson.Tài liệu giảng dạy của tôi

This was my first lesson with Thomas. Definitely recommend!
His English is excellent(!), so he could translate everything I didn't have in my German vocabulary. He seemed to intuitively know when he could speak German at normal speed and slow down for more difficult sentences.
He seems willing to invest time in his students (which is lovely!) and promotes a relaxed, supportive vibe for learning German.
