Desde hace 7 años soy tutor particular de matemáticas , pero recientemente mi amor por los idiomas y las culturas me dio el impulso para comenzar a enseñar también el idioma español. Debido a que también he sido estudiante de inglés y de chino mandarín, sé las necesidades de un estudiante de idiomas y desarrollé la paciencia y amabilidad necesaria para dar un buen servicio.
I have been math tutor for about 7 years, but recently the love for languages and culture gave me the initiative to start teaching Spanish. I have also been English and mandarin Chinese student so that is why I know the needs of a language student and have the patience and kindness to provide a good service. Como profesor, uso ejercicios prácticos que ayuden al estudiante a interactuar activamente con el idioma. Realizo actividades principalmente para hablar, pero también para leer, escribir y escuchar. Me guío de libros para encontrar los temas más acordes al nivel del estudiante, pero utilizo noticias, tendencias o canciones para hacer el aprendizaje más entretenido.
I focus in doing practical exercises that helps the student to directly interact with the language, activities to talk, to read , to write and to listen. I use Textbooks like a guide to find the more convenient topics according to the student level. I like using news, songs or tendencies to make a more fun learning.Tài liệu giảng dạy của tôi

I really enjoyed my first lesson with Juan, and will continue to study with him. He took the lead with a fun, conversational activity right away to gauge my level of Spanish, while also allowing me the freedom to ask questions and take it in my own direction. He's very patient, and skilled at explaining. A half an hour flew by!

Juan Felipe was an excellent teacher. I am honoured to be his first student on italki and I am sure he will have many more in the future. He has a good teaching strategy for beginners with some games and makes you feel comfortable. Look forward to many more classes together.

Excellent. I had a trial lesson with Juan and I really enjoyed it, he used good speaking and listen activities and made me feel comfortable in the lesson (even though I was really nervous). I will be booking further lessons with Juan.

My 10 year old son enjoyed his first lesson with Juan Felipe. We like how clearly Juan speaks and how patient he is with my son. Looking forward to our next lesson.
