I don’t like to consider myself as a teacher because I want to be your partner on the journey of learning Vietnamese so that you can achieve your goals in near future. It was exciting to hear the central accent from Quang Ngai province. Until today, I had only read about it. Whenever I have the opportunity to speak with anyone from Vietnam, people usually speak in the Northern or Southern accent. It's not everyday that you get to learn about a different accent. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to learning more.

It was great to learn new vocabulary, do role play of dialogues, and work on pronunciation in today's lesson. She also gave me some homework tasks to do before the next lesson in order to improve my language skills! I will also think of some topics and sentences for her to translate for me so I can have a conversation in Vietnamese with my relatives.
