Giới thiệu bản thân
Là giáo viên italki từ 3 Jul năm 2018
My name is Yako. I love to communicate with people and talking about any cultural and social topics. So it is a real pleasure for me to listen and to help people who want to learn to speak in Japanese.
Having lived in different countries and I learned their language. I know how hard it's to speak to new people in a new language. I also know that it's very frustrating when you can't express your feelings and ideas well in another language. I understand exactly how you feel and that's why I will encourage you to speak Japanese without pressure and I'll give you many tips and vocabulary to help you express yourself.
Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
I've taught theatre and performing arts at the Japanese Culture Foundation in Sendai for over 12 years. My experience in supporting professionals and non-professionals helps me to teach Japanese to non-native speakers. I understand people want to communicate to explain themselves and to share feeling and ideas.
I met people from various countries, and I know that each country has a different way of communicating with others. That’s why I would like to help you to understand Japanese not only as a language, but also a culture and a social context in a deep relationship with the language. I believe my skills and experiences will be useful to you.

Another very helpful pronunciation training session with Yako sensei. The scripts she wrote particularly for each session was extremely authentic and hilarious at the same time. They are not only tailored to my own identity needs (e.g. a female professional), but also target those difficult pronunciation patterns for non-native speakers, such as the double consonant in Japanese, aka the small つ. Those conversations and monologues are richly contextualized so that you can easily imagine yourself saying those lines to someone else in your life. The scripts are sometimes connected to form a series of stories, such as the Izakaya saga, the graduating saga and etc., making it easy for you to retrieve from memory in future. I admire Yako sensei's professionalism in every pedagogical decision she carefully made. Although such efforts might not always be noticeable to the students, the result is obvious.

Kimura先生 is amazing! I felt comfortable making mistakes, and she helped me along the way! She is a wonderful conversational teacher. One of her best features is that she corrects me and is very patient. She is exactly the teacher I need for improving my Japanese speaking skills.

Yako Sensei was extremely helpful in preparing for my job interview and figuring out how best to express what I want to say. She also made a Google Doc as we went that I can refer to later. Great lesson!
