Prior to becoming a Film Editor, I worked as an English teacher in Guatemala City where I acquired an English Teacher Certificate at IGA (Instituto-Guatemalteco- Americano) While working as a teacher; I had the opportunity to work with different types of people; I taught children, teenagers, and adults. My goal now is to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to every student.

I have more than ten years of experience teaching Spanish both at university and at secondary level. I hold Qualified Teacher Status in modern foreign languages and I also have a MA with distinction in English studies. During my career I have successfully influenced many people’s lives; some of my students have become language teachers themselves and others have relocated to Spanish speaking countries.
