My qualifications: • Master’s degree in Japanese Education from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul (2014). • Korean Education Course at Hongik University, Seoul (2013). • Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language and Japanese Translation from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul (2011). As a language teacher, I have to be explicit communication with my students in terms of interacting, stimulate cognitive and consistency. In my previous teaching experience with teenagers, I learnt from them to be patient and keep motivating what is their goal and want to be. Of course, there are many dispositions to teach them. But, my key of teaching are fun, easy and practical. We can have a good time learning Korean many different ways such as K-drama, K-pop if you like any of those. I have created my own textbook which is an amalgamation of the best parts of the Korean textbooks. I use a lot of images to help the student speak and then develop sentences using everyday words and grammar. My aim is to encourage students to speak in Korean and improve their confidence.

Through years of teaching Korean, I have learned fun and interactive classes is one of the most important aspects of learning, since things are more easily remembered in a fun learning environment. I also believe that using words and phrases that students have learned recently helps significantly in integrating those words into their repertoire. I am very proud of my students, most of whom have shown a lot of progress in this area. One of the main goals in learning a language is to speak it, which is why I also put a lot of effort into encouraging sentence construction and speaking.
