As I'm an actor, I've been teaching language including acting know-how. In order to play-acting, It use not only words but also gesture, facial expression and voice tone and so on. In order to communicate with foreigners, same as them. So, it's important that not only study language but also learning various things. “Let's do a role play!” You can learn a lot of new vocabularies and natural expressions through change roles and emotions. Japanese is a language that change greatly depending on them. That textbooks can not.

If you want to learn Japanese with your Japanese textbook such as "GENKI", I will teach according to the textbook. (I have GENKI 1,2). I will give you feedback after each lesson. I’m a certified Japanese teacher, and I taught my language in Singapore for 2 years. Although I have never formally trained in teaching language, I have voluntarily taught Japanese for many years. I’ve attended to language exchange lessons in Toronto and New York and taught Japanese to people from all over the world (e.g. American, Canadian, Russian, Polish, German, Chinese, Korean, Indian etc.) from very beginners to fluent people. I made close friends who learn Japanese and we always asked and taught each other when I was studying English. One of my best friends is an American and he still asks me about the Japanese language even after he moved to Japan.
