I am a cheerful person and I try to give joy to my students. I think that learning without realising it is the best way to reach a goal. I know that every single student takes their own time to learn. I am very patient and I always wait for an answer. I think that silence is very important too and is not good to force a student to speak when he or she is not completely self-confident. La mia passione sono le lingue, ma mi piace parlare anche di storia, geografia, arte, musica e cinema. Since 2 years I have been teaching Italian in cross-cultural contexts, to people coming from all over the world. Languages are my passion. I like also history, geography, art, music and movies as well. If you share the same passions, we can talk about them during our lessons.

As a teacher I try to understand personal needs of every single student. I like to use interactive materials and bring fun to the lesson. Very important to me is also to dissolve the initial fear of speaking of students and I encourage them to speak from the very beginning. I have teaching experience with kids, teenagers and adults. First of all, I would say that I am very "kind" and flexible. I really care about my students and about their progress in learning. I am open to any kind of feedback and any kind of requests in order to make our lessons "better". As far as I can, my goal is to speak just in Italian, from the first lesson. I want Italian to become our medium, forgetting English or Persian. I started tutoring college level students while I was in grad school and have continued to teach adults. I teach the Italian language especially to teenagers who want to obtain certifications up to advanced levels and to adults who intend to acquire in a short time, with accelerated courses, knowledge on the language in order to travel and communicate with a minimum of autonomy in Italy.

I used to tutor children and teenagers in their school years helping them with subjects such as Italian grammar and literature. I am actually pretty much into classical literature. I also helped many adults learning Italian, especially my fellow East European and Arab immigrants. Since I've been on italki I've realized how much I missed doing this, and how much I love it! I still do not have any particular qualitication as a teacher (but it's actually in my plans) so I don't have the pretension to teach to an academic level. However, I do have a lot of experience, both live and online, and I do speak both languages on a native level, using them everyday in school, work and personal life.
