Como profesor de italiano trato de aportar un pedazo de mi tierra en casa clase. Aprender el idioma es una de las cosas más bonitas que pueden existir, conocer una nueva cultura, involucrarse en ella. Trato de crear una conexión con mis alumnos y creo que esto involucra más a las personas en el aprendizaje. Secondo me imparare la lingua è una delle cose più belle che possano esistere, conoscere una cultura nuova, involucrarsi con essa. Cerco oltretutto di creare una connessione tra me e i miei alunni e questo credo sia uno dei miei segreti per coinvolgere di più le persone nell'apprendimento.

I've been teaching online and offline since 2016. I can say I got some experience! I'm a certified Italian teacher for foreigners and I started with private lessons both online and in presence. So far, my students have expressed satisfaction about my lessons, because I'm flexible in my schedule and very focused on their goals. In my lessons, I follow an inductive methodology, which means that, as a guide in the learning process of the students, I help them to discover by themselves the rules that govern the various linguistic aspects. I think that this methodology is much more effective than other more traditional methods, since it allows better internalize what has been learned.

For the last four years, I have been teaching French to Italian speakers and, above all, Italian to foreigners and I have learnt that each student is unique. Each student has a unique way of thinking, unique goals, and unique language learning needs. As a language learner myself, I understand the difficulties you may have when learning Italian. As a teacher, I do my best to adapt to your needs. I plan our lessons to suit you and your learning style.

Sono una persona capace di ascoltare e che riconosce l'importanza dei feedback e delle correzioni, senza però che queste ultime diventino un limite affinché la comunicazione avvenga. Cerco di capire quali sono i desideri e le difficoltà dell'alunno (timidezza, scarsità di vocabolario...), per superarle assieme.

Non sono il tipo di insegnante che insegna le tavole di grammatica e coniugazioni varie senza alcun contesto. Sono convinto che la lingua sia un fatto di comunicazione, non di regole da imparare a memoria. Ho intenzione di ascoltare tutti voi per capire quali sono i vostri obiettivi e i vostri interessi, e su questa base creare un piano di studi efficace su misura.

Per conoscere il mondo come madrelingua italiana è stato quasi un obbligo imparare lingue straniere. Parlo inglese, spagnolo e discretamente il francese e il tedesco; so cosa significa studiare una lingua in modo accademico e invece ciò che implica impararla direttamente sul campo. Per questo da 5 anni ho deciso di dedicarmi all'insegnamento e trasmettere qualche trucco per apprendere l'essenza dell'italiano velocemente e divertendosi.

As a tutor, I help beginner and intermediate students who are mostly focused on improving their Italian speaking skills. I have a Master Degree in teaching Italian and the CELTA certification to teach English, so I can truly understand the differences between the two languages and I can help you avoid translation errors and recognize false friends. I consider myself fortunate to have had the chance to combine the two things I love the most - travelling and teaching and in fact I taught languages in several countries: Uk, China, Germany and now Italy. My lessons are based on conversation and I'll make sure to give you the language tools in order to speak Italian or English from day one. Come si evince dalla mia presentazione, non e' mio intento e grado, insegnare ad un livello accademico. Based on my background and life style, my goal in teaching is to improve the communication skill in everyday life needs. As I travelled a lot, I like to give priorities to those common habits and understanding of dialects and slang cacophonic weird sounds which could lead to an unpleasant experience in my beloved country. Such misleading wordings, put myself into some hard time scenarios, both in working environments either everyday life. Therefore, to plan in advance an all round historical and cultural heritance vision, should be a must for everyone willing to learn a new language.

I'm a very patient and calm person. I don't like to terrorize my students, because fear won't help at all. My lessons won't be focused only on grammar but they will be also about literature and culture. Non mi piace creare il cosiddetto insegnamento del terrore. Non voglio puntare alla semplice grammatica e alle regole severe della lingua, voglio che lo studente si diverta con me, che abbia piacere nello studiare la lingua.

Avendo insegnato a studenti da poco arrivati in Italia (bambini, ragazzi e adulti) e avendo io stessa imparato delle lingue straniere, ho sperimentato che è parlando, leggendo, scrivendo e anche giocando che si apprende più velocemente. So, però, che per parlare correttamente anche la grammatica e la sintassi sono molto importanti e, visto che in italiano sono molto complesse e ci sono moltissime regole, mi piace affrontarle partendo dalla conversazione, da letture e da video. Imparare dev'essere divertente e appassionante... altrimenti dopo un po' si perde la motivazione.

Sono madrelingua italiana e mi piacerebbe aiutarvi a perfezionare l'uso della mia lingua. Non ho diplomi o attestati di insegnamento, ma ho svolto per 12 anni attività di insegnamento doposcuola e di ripetizioni di lingua italiana.

Also, I have helped students with different language levels. From absolute beginners to B1/B2 students that I have helped while preparing for the FCE Oxford exam, that they passed without any issue. Having passed such exams myself, I know how they work and the best strategies to pass them with profit.

I teach the Italian language especially to teenagers who want to obtain certifications up to advanced levels and to adults who intend to acquire in a short time, with accelerated courses, knowledge on the language in order to travel and communicate with a minimum of autonomy in Italy.

I am a cheerful person and I try to give joy to my students. I think that learning without realising it is the best way to reach a goal. I know that every single student takes their own time to learn. I am very patient and I always wait for an answer. I think that silence is very important too and is not good to force a student to speak when he or she is not completely self-confident.
