An enthusiastic teacher who is always full of energy during each lesson, I am genuinely interested in languages and how they work, which I believe will make our classes fun & interesting! I have 5 years of experience in teaching adults (general English, business English, test preparation), teenagers (general English, test preparation), and children. As a native speaker of Indonesian, I also offer Bahasa Indonesia classes.

I have been teaching Indonesian online to foreigners for over 5 years. I have taught students from all over the world, at any level with a variety of learning goals. I graduated from Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, University of Indonesia, majoring in Communication Science, and I hold a Sertifikat Pengajaran BIPA (Certificate of Teaching Indonesian as a Foreign Language). I also studied several foreign languages at cultural institutions in Indonesia and universities overseas. I love teaching and I am always enthusiastic to help others to study my native language and share about Indonesian culture.

In 2018, I taught English to foreign learners (Indonesians). Now I teach Indonesian to foreigners. They mainly come from Germany, Netherlands, UK, and Philippines. Therefore, I’m experienced in teaching both English and Indonesian to non-native speakers.

I have been teaching almost 8 years. I have a lot of studens from different country, of course different characher and dialect. In this case, I do not require my students to speak perfectly. I teach slowly according to the student needs.

I have been teaching English for about 7 years. In my workplace, I also help some native English teachers learn Indonesian language. I find it's fun. In 2017, I decided to go back to school and learn my mother tongue formally. I always encourage my students to share their interests and passions. Once I know what they are really into, they can speak even more than I expected. Creating a fun and active class atmosphere is a key to help boost my students skills.

I am no professional teacher, but learning language is my passion. I love to observe what type of my student is before I begin the class with short introduction and short story about my student's experience in learning Indonesian (by people, apps, movie, actor, etc). I am a good listener and love to guide my student to speak more with their vocab. Limited vocab and mistakes are never being a big deal in learning languages. I encourage my student to keep trying without worrying because I'll guide you :)

I’m a native speaker of Indonesian language but I speak English proficiently. I’m currently teaching online, both Indonesian language and English.
