As a teacher, I like to take the time to explore your own learning style in order to foster a better learning experience. I believe my expertise helps me guide you towards better foreign language practice - it is through communication, accompanied by bits of the necessary grammar, that progress is achieved. It's important as well to stimulate your curiosity and base my courses on up-to-date, relevant topics ; I enjoy making my students work on hands-on projects (creating short videos, making short blog articles, etc.) as I believe those are activities that promote effective, real long-time learning.

My teaching philosophy is that: "people learn best when they are having fun". I think that most people learn the best when they are laughing and smiling. That's why I love to have high energy and make sure that you're having fun and definitely not falling asleep! J'adore enseigner aux gens. J'ai cette passion de vouloir aider et de transmettre mes connaissances. Étant jeune, j'ai été guide touristique, j'ai été professeur de ski alpin, j'ai enseigné à des étudiants en recherche...bref l'enseignement fait partie de ma vie. Je souhaite un jour donner des conférences sur des sujets enrichissants. C'est pourquoi j'ai décidé d'utiliser italki afin de pouvoir répondre à ce besoin d'enseigner. Dans le confort de mon foyer, il est possible d'offrir mes services dans ce domaine. De cette façon, je peux faire de la photographie et m'occuper des vaches laitières à la ferme sans trop de tracas.

I have six years of teaching experience as a tutor. During this time I've met amazing people with diverse backgrounds - programmers, entrepreneurs, university students, artists and many, many more. The vast majority of my students are also expats living mainly in French speaking countries and this is something I consider to be my greatest asset - having lived in France as an expat gave me the opportunity to be able to empathize with a student and understand what are his or her needs in terms of learning a language. Although, the pleasure of actually speaking it is my biggest mission. We enjoy the process, we have fun, we try to make the language serve us - not otherwise :).

I like reading empowering books (though lately I am using more audio books) & I will gladly give you some recommendations.
