I have about two years of teaching experience mostly teenagers and adults. I started learning other languages online by myself and this experience made me start to teach others because I know which kind of difficulties They can encounter.

I can help you in improving your conversation skills, with grammar and even with test or exam preparation. I have a number of different resources that can assist you, including worksheets, activities, websites and other tools that can aid in improving your oral and written fluency of the language.

I have helped out at an English camp, where I helped teach beginner English, and weekly English clubs, where I focused on getting to know people and helped lead discussions in the intermediate level group. I have also helped people learn English through regularly spending time with them in conversation. Having studied Russian for many years, I understand the challenges involved in learning a language.

I have been delivering one on one sessions online for around 6 years and I have learnt a lot of things from my students in that time. In particular, I am interested in offering students basic cultural knowledge and understanding, so that they may understand the references and tone of a conversation between native speakers. I also believe that in an increasingly integrated world, in which questions of politics, music, sport and culture happen on a global level, students should feel able to participate in those conversations. I am also keen on the art of error correction - when to correct and when not to correct.

During my time working as a professional musician, I was a singing teacher / vocal coach as well and helped many of my pupils gain confidence and focusing on joy in addition to technique.
