I believe every student should learn something new they can use during each lesson, not just practise English. I also understand how difficult it is to learn a language when you don't have any time to study or attend classes and I love helping people to understand and use everyday English. I'm a patient teacher and use a variety of strategies, which I have learnt through my study and experience. I have 3 teaching qualifications (a Delta from Cambridge English, a certificate in TESOL and a degree in Primary Education) and 10 years' experience teaching both in classrooms and online.

1. I have created my own teaching style and book which will allow you to talk about your day in 5/7 to 10 sessions. 2. I'm patient and will allow you to struggle a bit before telling you the answer. 3. You can expect me to bring positive energy to the classroom. I will be a good listener in our class. During conversational lessons, I will ask you questions that make you think. For example, "What would you tell your 20-year-old self?" – maybe you will teach me something too:) If you are not interested in having high level conversations, I am not the right teacher for you. After our first class together, I will send you a Google doc with all of my favorite free English content from the net.

Since I retired from classroom teaching, I have taught English to students in China, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. I’ve been learning how to speak a language in different ways (traditional- in school and natural-like a child) and the natural way is by far the most stimulating and motivating way. My classes will be mostly conversational and we will personalize every class to your abilities, needs and goals. I can help you with everything from grammar, preparation for Swedish exams, new vocabulary etc. Life is a constant learning process that never ends. Every day we are learning new things and improving as long as we stay curious and engaged.
