I customize my lesson for every individual student taking into account their preferences and learning needs. I also incorporate grammar, idioms, videos, homework, etc if the student needs that to succeed. I can offer both casual or customized lessons.

I've been a teacher of English for over 20 years, and I've followed different interests as I've grown in my career to take in teaching young learners, exam preparation, examining, English for Academic Purposes, teaching pre-literate children, academic management and teacher training, supporting people with a variety of special educational needs and now I'm developing tech skills to support learnings learning online and through hybrid teaching. I am always curious about new aspects of my career.

My lessons are focused on building your skills in all areas of language learning: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. During the lesson, we will work on speaking and listening through role-playing activities ("scheduling a meeting", "ordering a pizza"), speaking tasks (job interviews, introducing yourself), and conversations about topics that interest you. News articles, homework, and other authentic materials are provided to help increase your vocabulary and fluency. All classes are conducted on Zoom.

Because my lessons are solely conversational, I HIGHLY recommend you only take my lessons if you're an intermediate/advanced learner. As an informal tutor, we will not spend much time on grammar, but if you do have specific questions you'd like to ask me, I can help you! The best way i can help you on your journey to becoming fluent in English, is of course letting you talk, but also create an environment in which we both have a conversation. The goal is to improve listening comprehension as well as verbal communication.

I became a teacher to share my passion for languages with the world. I want everyone to realise how much fun you can have learning a new language. It is easier than you think. Forget about all the boring language classes in school and prepare for lessons filled with fun and laughter. I became a TEFL qualified tutor in 2017 and since then have completed hundreds of hours of teaching students at all levels. I regularly help students of all levels to improve their understanding of English, increase their vocabulary and become confident English speakers. Isn't it annoying when you are talking to your teacher and you are thinking about grammar ,or you know that you made a mistake but your teacher isn't correcting you. I know I hate it. It's a waste of time and money. In our lessons, I will ALWAYS correct you, by writing down or interrupting to tell you this was mispronounced, grammatically incorrect or if it doesn’t sound right or natural. I have experience in teaching non-native Arabic speakers. I have taught many students and they all loved the language. I can teach children and adults in a simple and uncomplicated way. I am patient and friendly. I am flexible, I don't have a problem if a student asks me to change the topic or reschedule

I am a teacher with plenty of enthusiasm and commitment towards my lessons but also a lot of patience. As a student, you can feel free to ask me to come back to the same things again and again and I will be happy to explain them to you once more.

I am pretty quirky, and find it really easy to connect with students. The skills I learnt on my TESOL course have equipped me well to deal with difficulties in the classroom such as misunderstanding, mispronunciation, eliciting language and time management. I am adaptable, and can often find new ways of explaining tasks or language rules if they are not understood first time round.

I have been teaching for a while now and the experience has been amazing. I enjoy interacting with people from different parts of the work. Teaching gives me a chance to travel and learn about different cultures and that motivates me to be great at it.
