I believe one of the greatest tools for learning is having a goal. Sometimes students come in with a goal - they want to pass a test or be able to speak fluently while traveling. Other times, we can create a goal together, whether that is writing a short story in English, reading a story they love in the native English, or learning to perform comedy. I showed interest in languages when I was a kid, so I started learning English when I was 7 years old. Going on cruise ship improved and shaped my English skills. I have been a qualified TEFL teacher since July 2016, and I have experience teaching complete beginners through to advanced.
