I strongly believe that variety is the spice of life! Because of this I like to teach at all levels, because I think everyone has something to offer and to learn. I completed my CELTA training at St Giles International and have been teaching English for over a year now. I'm enthusiastic, attentive, and also very supportive as a teacher. I encourage my students to be confident and independent with their language usage. I believe it's important to make mistakes as these are your opportunities for improvement, but most of all it's important to enjoy your language learning. Finding fun and satisfaction in using your developing skills is where learning flows from best!

I am willing to work hard to help you if you are also working hard. I will correct you when you make mistakes and write them in a PDF or DOC file for you to keep. I will also tell you the most natural way to say things. As a language learner, I believe the most important thing is to have self-discipline. I study my target language diligently for at least 2-3 hours a day and the rest of the time, I am consuming entertainment in my target language. I don't expect my students to do exactly what I do, I just expect you to study at least a little bit on your own and use what you learned in your lessons with me.

I have IHCTL certificate. This stands for International House Certificate in Teaching Languages, which is CELTA equivalent. I am a Trinity College qualified teacher with around ten years of experience working on many different educational projects. I've taught general English in language schools in Spain and the UK (as well as having worked online), and English through photography, multimedia and the creative arts in the UK and Malaysia. I've organised and delivered creative and language based workshops in important gallery spaces in London, as well as having volunteered to teach English and the arts to refugees and asylum seekers in the UK and Malaysia.
