I am very kind and patient. I am not a strict teacher. I know what it means to study a new language because I had to learn Thai when I was in Thailand for 2 years as an English teacher. I make sure that my students understand that it is okay to make mistake because it is part of learning, however I also want them to do their best and practice what they are learning.

I have always loved languages and have learnt them from an early age as a child. This was my main motivation to become a teacher over 15 years ago. Apart from teaching I have also spent time contracting to a language school based at one of the universities in Auckland to develop teaching materials for new teachers to help them on their teacher training journey. I am currently completing my Masters of Education which I believe will enhance my knowledge about education in general and also my teaching practice.

First, teaching private classes at a college, then teaching for a primary school. I then traveled to India and worked out there, teaching students in Nepal. Nowadays being bilingual or polyglot is a huge advantage over all and has a lot of amazing benefits such as; more networking opportunities, highly valued in the workplace, extremely helpful while traveling or the simple fact of being able to communicate with more people. Due to these reasons I decided to learn English as my second language and being completly honest with you guys it was very hard for years, unitll I understood why, the lack of practice/speaking, as simply as it sounds but yes, the more you speak the faster you'll improve.

What I liked the most was the satisfaction of having encouraged someone to see studying as important and not as a boring mandatory activity. I always loved languages and to help fellow students, so now I´m looking forward to doing that again. I am also a very friendly, sympathetic person that is always there to give a hand and hear what you need.
