My name is Mazher. I am from India. I have been teaching "full-time" as a Freelance Language Tutor since 2016. Prior to that, I worked as a Business Communication Trainer and Remote Desktop IT Support. In terms of credentials, I have gained a BA in Music, an MA in Education, and the English Language teaching qualifications of CELTA and DELTA.

I have 18 years of English teaching experience which includes teaching elementary students and even training English teachers. I have started as a teacher then moved up the career ladder and became an education supervisor. Later on, I continued as an educational manager of "Safir Language Academy" with more than 36 branches all around my country. I am patient and I think progress is never possible without practice and persistence. I am outspoken and friendly so I can build a fine bond with my students. I take teaching very seriously and my students progress and satisfaction is my greatest sense of achievement.

I love teaching conversational English and helping students practise the conversational elements of the IELTS exam. I am very easy to talk to, and will always adapt to the topic in question. I have a neutral British accent, which is very easy to understand. I have completed a 150 hour TESOL course as well as a 120 hour TEFL course, and have taught online and in person for several years. Patience is a key attribute of mine, so there is absolutely no need to feel embarrassed if you are struggling with anything. I like to remind students of their progress and help them stay motivated rather than let them dwell on any nuances they have not yet mastered.

I have IHCTL certificate. This stands for International House Certificate in Teaching Languages, which is CELTA equivalent. Writing has always been one of my passions because the ability to express oneself through words has such an impact on the reality that one creates. During my years in university I excelled in all my English classes. I was chosen to be a teacher’s assistant for ESL classes, and I worked in the English Lab alongside English professors to edit and revise student essays. I recently obtained a TEFOL and have received several offers to teach at International Schools around the planet. On my free time, I compose poems and transpose fluid thoughts into writing as a way to release feelings and emotions.
