Ciao! My name is Massimo and after studying and living in the United Kingdom I decided to travel around Japan and Korea teaching Italian and English! I'm back to Italy and I'm studying Japanese now and I can't wait to share with youvmy experience as a student, a professional, a traveller, a teacher and a student again! Being native in Italian and fluent in English has always been a priceless asset during my whole academic and professional life and I want to help students with various and exciting backgrounds reach the level of fluency in Italian they are looking and working for!

During my teaching experience I realised that text books and manuals are useful but not enough to deeply understand a language, to assimilate the structure and use it properly and brilliantly in any situation. I'll always help you reach the highest confidence in your own skills making you aware, at your own pace, that once we comprehend and domesticate the grammar and we create a solid vocabulary all we need is to remember that speaking a foreign language is always funny, fulfilling and incredibly useful!

I like to go through grammar rules and vocabulary with you, showing you similarities and differences between words and useful patterns. After that I always make you play with what you just learnt. The best way to be sure that we understand a language is by being confident enough to create something new, a sentence or a little dialogue based on what we just learnt! Grammar rules first and then magazine articles, cartoons, songs, commercials and everyday dialogues because that's where a language is used, that's what the student will see and talk about during their fantastic experience as speaker of a foreign language they decided to explore!

An absolutely fascinating lesson - I learned things about Italians, Italy and the language I had no idea of. I suspect Massimo is refreshingly unique among tutors - he comes at language learning from such a different angle. A great tutor for going deeper into things.
