Hola! Hello! Salut! I’m a Colombian, I'm a native Spanish speaker. I'm a publicist with more than ten years' experience in Marketing and Advertising. I always dreamed of occupying important positions in the corporate field. But life has a unique way of changing our plans. That’s how, after two years as a language student, I decided to reorient my career to become a Spanish teacher. I recently recieved my Spanish as a foreign language certification from the Miguel de Cervantes University in Spain. I plan to continue learning so I can teach my beloved language and help students achieve their goals.

For me, knowing the language is as important as knowing how to teach it. That is why I’ve received training to be a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language. This means that I have pedagogical tools to work all the skills and to help you in your learning process. I love to mix aspects aspects of my profession such as creativity and innovation with language instruction. I also like to apply my my knowledge in design to the creation of my own teaching materials.

My virtual classroom is a safe space in which: - Mistakes are welcome and are seen as opportunities. - Cultural differences and exchanges are valued. - Empathy is practiced. Since it is proven that our brain only learns through emotion, more than Spanish classes, I create learning experiences using various resources that awaken sensations such as storytelling, gamification, humor, music, art and culture. In my sessions there is also a hint of rebellion. I will invite you to challenge the traditional materials, showing you a bit of Latin American slang, so you can also learn how Spanish is normally spoken in the streets, in order to give you a greater understanding of the language.
