Hello! Nice to meet you! I am a native German and and I have been a German teacher (Master of Education / Secondary school teacher) in Germany for over 10 years. After completing my Master of Education, I was a German assistant at Calvin University in Michigan, USA, from 2008-2009 and gained my first experience in teaching German as a foreign language. Since then I have always enjoyed teaching adults and children at all levels. I would be happy to help you!

As a teacher, I am interested in helping you individually. I have been a teacher for over 10 years and I love my job! I have a Master of Education and finished my „Referendariat“ — I graduated in both with honors. I am happy when my students are successful and achieve their goals.

Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım

Lessons have to be fun and engaging — I do that with a variety of materials and methods. “Immersion style teaching” is a very popular method on my part. Authentic German material is exciting and encourages interactive exchange, but a mix of short video sequences, songs or other suitable material can also be very effective. Since my lessons are planned individually, there is not just one specific method. I teach over "Zoom" and provide materials, corrections and other suggestions via "google classroom".

A great lesson as always! Tina makes learning German fun and she really focuses on tailoring the lesson to my level in German and I continue to make improvements after each lesson.
