Hi, my name is Joonie. I was born in South Korea and currently living in South Korea. I am an English linguistic & literature major student at university. So I can speak English and Korean fluently and I can teach and explain Korean grammatically as well as conversationally. I have been studying foreign languages not only in my major course but also by myself at home. therefore I know many difficulties to learn foreign languages so that I can help you to learn Korean through what I did studying languages. 안녕하세요, 저는 한국에서 태어나고 현재까지 한국에서 살고 있습니다. 저는 대학교에서 영어영문학과 영어언어학을 전공하고 있습니다. 저도 많은 언어들을 공부하며 많은 어려움이 있었습니다. 그 어려움들을 극복한 방법을 통해 여러분들에게 한국어를 보다 효율적이고 재밌게 공부할 수 있게 도와드리고 싶습니다 !

I have taught Korean to my friends which is why I started getting interesting in teaching Korean. I used to correct their Korean writing such as essays and also helped their conversational skills not only informal way but also a formal way in different generations' way to talk.

My tutoring can be both Korean and English 🇰🇷🇬🇧 We can talk about anything you are interested in. Let's find something we are interested in and talk about! I will give you a little bit of homework after class to revise and preview the next class. It won't be too much! I believe that the best way to study language is by talking about things you like and enjoy. so I will try to make your Korean studying time would be fun!

My first class with Joonie went by very smoothly. He is very patient to listen to me when I'm struggling to speak, and gives me suggestions for what to say when I make a mistake. He's a very kind teacher, and I would recommend him for anyone who wants to learn Korean.

오늘 수업 참 좋았어요! Joonie is very patient, he talks clearly and slowly so that you can understand everything. It felt like I had a true conversation that didn't feel one-sided which is best for getting used to natural conversation. 고맙고 다음에 봐요~!
