When I was in my junior year of college, I did my volunteering as an English teacher for children in the rural area of Thailand for 2 months, Sisaket province to be specific. After I graduated from college, I used to work as a teaching assistant for native English teachers and myself as well as teaching English for Vietnamese children for 2 years. In my opinion, studying always needs to be active and creative. I always try to encourage my students to speak as much as possible, and most importantly, I try to switch the methods from time to time so the lessons are always new and less boring. The topics should always be based on students' interests to make them most excited to speak.
