Hello, Ciao, Hallo, Olá! I am Martina, a 25-year-old German-Italian psychology student, and my bilingual upbringing raised my profound interest in languages in the first place. I am currently enrolled in a Master's, focusing on insights from social & (cross-) cultural psychology and doing a research internship at the same time. I was born in Belgium and have already lived in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Portugal. My previous job experiences include internships at psychiatric hospitals, babysitting, Customer Service for Language Courses, and Tutoring. I have experience in teaching languages to children and young adults (mainly Italian to German natives and German to Italian natives).

I am curious, open-minded, and flexible, meaning that I always try to adapt to my student's needs. I believe that the more fun you have, the better you learn! My main focus is a conversation, however, I am open to go through single grammar topics and adapt my lessons accordingly.

I first try to assess my student's level and talk about their needs, language history, and how they enjoy learning. I always use a Document where we keep track of what we do during the lesson and essential rules, vocabulary, exercises, etc. Furthermore, I have a bunch of grammar exercises and some beginner learning books. I am open to whatever my students want to work on. I also like to read and discuss articles, books, ...
