Dear future student; I am Yemina, a native Spanish speaker from Argentina and also an English teacher. I've worked as a teacher for 12 years and in 2018, I decided to quit my job to travel around the world. I have lived in Switzerland, Andorra and Portugal where I have had seasonal jobs which I enjoyed very much! Every day is a new lesson!! Currently, I am living in Mexico city! A little bit more about myself: I am an enthusiastic person, eager to learn more languages but also to share what I know with others and to meet people around the world. Teaching has always been one of my passions together with travelling, photography and cooking! I am looking forward to meeting you!

I prioritise communication above grammar or structures, which are important but by themselves they do not guarantee you fluent communication in the target language! That is why I like to use authentic material: movies, series, songs, pieces of news from the media, even a cooking class (making of empanadas, for instance!). Above all, I want to help gain confidence to speak in public and everyday situations! You will not regret having a lesson with me! Yemina

✔️I place the focus on a communicative approach. ✔️I want to help you extend your vocabulary on topics of your interest so that you can have more interesting and fluid conversations in the target language. ✔️Eventhough English can be used as the backup language, Spanish is spoken at all times! Yes, you can do it! ✔️Error correction upon request: Let me know which is the way you feel more comfortable with when it comes to error correction. ✔️I like to assign some homework so that the learner can drill at home. However, this can be adjusted according to your time constraints.
