Hey there, my name is Sherwin and I'm a native Filipino. I grew up in the Philippines, and as such I speak Tagalog, or Filipino as it's commonly known as, as well as Cebuano natively. I also speak English fluently, as it's taught in elementary school, and is integral to day-to-day communication in both Tagalog and Cebuano.

Though I don't have formal education in teaching, I've gotten a lot of experience using the languages I speak in practical situations. Working within customer service has been a big part of mastering the languages I teach here on iTalki, both in terms of language skills as well as refining my communication skills.

I want to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere, while also tailoring each lesson to your specific needs, regardless of your level. That could mean discussing articles at an advanced level, or providing shared material we can go over if you're just starting out.
