Hi! I am Leah, aka 도현. I was born in Daegu, South of Korea but have moved a lot. I lived in Seoul, Guam, Seattle. I used to go to the college in Seoul but I dropped, and now I attend college in the US. As you can see, I love to experience various cultures. I also have a lot of interests. I have been teaching Korean since I started to travel alone. I taught Korean at church in Japan and the US. They range in age from 7-year-olds to 70-year-olds. Some people couldn't speak Korean at all, but they developed a lot through our (me and other Korean students) class. And I know how hard learning a new language is. I am so patient! Please don't be afraid to make mistakes!!

*There are 3 options <3 New)1. Conversation only class : if you are C1~C2 level, and you can talk with natives for 30~90min, you can book this class! There is no correction paper. 2. Conversation and correction class: if you need more help to speak Korean, you should book this class. We will learn easy sentences, and after class I will provide correction papers. 2. Regular class : If you need help for writing or reading or listening, you should book this class. *My teaching style is not that hard. You just hang out with me, but you developed.

As usual, Leah's lessons are always in high spirits! Conversations with her are always interactive, entertaining, and as well as relatable. I always come out with learning something new in every lesson without being overwhelmed at all. It simply feels amazing to be in her company. I'm always looking forward to the next time I'll see her again!

Another awesome class!! I seriously can't explain how much I enjoy the lessons with Leah. She is so supportive, fun, kind and helpful. As a community tutor myself, I had some expectations of how I wanted a tutor to be, but I found the best tutor! I look forward to every single class.
