I have taught English to Speakers of Other languages for 15 years, mostly in secure institutions. For the students I teach, English is essential to access education and employment within the UK.
I have taught students from complete beginners and upwards. I am used to teaching reading, writing & speaking & listening skills. I specialize in beginner A1 students through to intermediate B2 and above. I will plan lessons according to your needs, I like to deliver structured lessons but I am also happy with a general conversational lesson. I can help you learn different grammatical structures and prepare you for tests if that is what you need. I can help you develop and expand your reading and writing skills.
I have an in-depth knowledge of the grammar, lexis and phonology of the English language. I am extremely sensitive to the factors influencing the use of English, both personal and social cultural and historical.
