Hello everyone! Welcome to my page on italki. My name is Kyle and I am from the state of California. In my free time, I love to learn how to cook different recipes. Also I love to dance different Latin music like salsa, bachata, merengue, cumbia, chachachá and champeta ( a musical style from the Caribbean coast of Colombia). My favorite hobby is traveling. My favorite region to explore is Latin America because of the culture. I've been to Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. I would love to travel to Panama, Peru, Chile, and Uruguay.

I have a B.A in Spanish and two TESOL Certificates: ESL for adults and children. I’ve been a teacher for 6 years. I’ve taught in Colombia for 5 years and 1 year in Costa Rica. My classes are always dynamic and fun. My students engaged in learning their second language. I teach online to students from Colombia, Panama, Chile, China, Russia, Brazil and many other countries. My main goal for you is to speak like a native speaker. That’s why my class is based on the communication approach, so you can use the language in real life situations. I am experienced in teaching at teaching pronunciation, grammar, reading comprehension, listening skills, and conversation skills.

I have many topics for our classes. These include: Conversation topics Grammar structure Sentence structure American pronunciation Reading comprehension Vocabulary Listening skills Interviews Public speaking Cultures that speak English Idioms and expressions The most important aspect of my class is correcting your mistakes; in this manner you can improve and notice a difference in your progress. If you are still in the early stages of learning English and not ready for a purely conversational class, my program is flexible to your needs and I offer textbook based learning as well. I usually don’t give homework, but if you want homework, we can discuss about that topic.
