My name is Joanna and I am a native Portuguese speaker from Brazil. If you are looking for someone to practice conversation in Portuguese with, you’ve found the right person! I like talking about many different topics, such as books, films, food and music. I would also love to know more about your country and your culture. Meu nome é Joanna e eu sou uma falante nativa da língua portuguesa. Se você está em busca de alguém com quem praticar conversação em português, você encontrou a pessoa certa! I'm very patient and it's okay to make mistakes whilst you are learning. However, I will sometimes correct you or provide you with a more natural way to express yourself. My classes are quite informal and I always try to create a relaxed learning atmosphere. My main focus is to develop conversational skills, so if you are willing to improve your conversational, listening and speaking skills, I think I can help you. Minhas aulas são bem informais e eu sempre tento propiciar um ambiente de aprendizagem tranquilo. Meu foco principal é desenvolver habilidades de conversação, então se você quer melhorar suas habilidades de conversação, escuta (listening) e fala (speaking), eu acredito que posso lhe ajudar.

Joanna is an amazing teacher! We talk about various topics each time we meet and she helps me with my errors as we talk. The conversations are engaging and I have a lot of fun. She also speaks English at an advanced level and can explain something in English if needed.
