I am newly graduated an Actor Coach, combing my previous experience working in film industry, I am fluent in both English and Chinese with great communication skills. My native language is Mandarin, and I had been a teaching assistant for a Chinese teacher for 6 years when I was in school. And I like to encourage students to have fun with language, and be bold in communication, because after all, it’s all about interaction. I can even write poem in ancient Chinese, so that’s super helpful when my student wants to know how to read Chinese web novels. :P I design bespoke curriculum for all my students and keep a very professional and detailed track on their journeys. As a native speaker and experienced Chinese tutor, I cover various aspects of Chinese study. Including exam preparation; part-time study; business Chinese; and daily communication. My principle of teaching is that "don't treat Chinese as your 1st second language, treat it as a native language". My pedagogy style is to having students actively explore the journey with my safety net. So I would encourage them to be bold and instinctive. I believe that language is not a logical/scientific discipline, it's an spontaneous expression that we already obtained the magic to do so.
