Hi! My name is Veronica, I am 23 years old and I am an italian native speaker. I was born in a little town near Garda Lake, but now I am living in Venice, where I study persian language. I have been studying persian languages and literature for four years. I love reading novels, cooking (expecially eating to be honest) and travelling. I spent five month in Iran when I was 21 and this experience helped me to understand how crucial it is practising a new language as much as possible.

Learning a new language is always an exciting journey, but also quite scary: you start exploring a new context and a new culture opens before your eyes; on the other hand, especially at the beginning, people get frustrated, because they feel that they are not getting any better, so they stop enjoying the process of learning. As far as I can, my goal is to speak just in Italian, from the first lesson. I want Italian to become our medium, forgetting English or Persian. Of course, particularly if you are a beginner, we can use other languages if you need.

If you have any request or preference please let me know. Everyone has different needs and I want you to feel comfortable and to have the best learning experience. The core of our class will be conversation, with some grammatical topics. We can discuss any subject you prefer. We can also follow a more traditional path and focus on the grammar if you need. If you are a beginner, we can start with the basics, easy words and simple grammar, but if you already know some Italian, we will strengthen your abilities and fix your weaknesses. I can provide images, pdfs, books, texts and if you like, we can read together some selected passages from some good italian books and discuss them together.
