Hello my name is Cindy. I am a certified Spanish and English teacher. To find a practical Spanish course with an online tutor might not always be easy since many inexperienced tutors don't know how to structure the lessons in the right way for your level. They might create random lessons that are above your level. The speed in which an instructor teaches you might be too slow or too fast for you. Nothing sinks in or you get annoyed. Sometimes the problem is that the lessons are too basic for your level. Your learning process will be very slow, and it will feel very repetitive without any real progress. If you are serious about learning the language you need structure.

Simple grammar for sentence structure can't be overlooked. That's a fatal mistake that will set you back years.11 You won't actually be learning the language if you just repeat random sentences over and over instead of understanding why you say what you say. Another way to sabotage your language learning is by not practicing. You need to practice during and after the lesson, making it in a way that doesn't feel like a heavy load in your already busy life. 10 pages of homework is unnecessary. Short and simple does the job. Boring lessons can make you lose your motivation because language learning is one of the learning subjects that can be very fun to learn unlike math.

I will assess your current level. This is the key to fast learning. Most of the time student are wrong about their self assessment, so we need a test! I will give you structured lessons after making the assessment. If you are a complete beginner I still adapt the lessons to your learning style. The speed of our classes will fit you not me. I am the tutor and I need to make sure the lesson speed is not too slow or fast for you . I like to let my students have control of the lessons too. With me, you won't have a full lesson of just me speaking the whole time. Therefore, I offer you practical exercises.

Cindy knows I have trouble w/ direct and indirect object pronouns so for this lesson we had a review session. She did additional research and found some additional materials and I think it helped a lot.

I've had about 5 lessons with Cindy can honestly say she is the best Spanish teacher I've ever had. She is very patient and helpful! She has very practical teaching methods which are great. Even after only 5 lessons I feel like my Spanish has improved drastically.
